Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Grandma Dart's house. I had collected pictures from everyone and put together a slideshow for after dinner. It turned out good I thought and I think everyone enjoyed it. Of course the food was delicious. And there were 38 people I think, so it was crazy and tons of fun. The girls enjoy getting lots of attention. We are so thankful for a loving family, for a warm home to live in and that Greg is employed and it looks like he will be for a little while at least. Even Snow is having to lay off employees. Sometimes I get frustrated because he works too much, but at least he has a job and one that he really loves.

Greg and I woke up early to hit the Black Friday sales. We made it without injury and were back to Greg's Mom's house by 8a.m. when the girls were just waking up. Greg and I enjoy doing it together and each year we are a little bit better about our strategy and planning. Greg says it is the only time he really enjoys shopping, because we go straight into the store, grab what we need and get out as quick as possible. Plus, who doesn't love getting a great deal?

Denali is officially potty trained. She did it all herself. I put a diaper on her for naps and bedtime, but she often wakes up dry even. So that is another thing I am extremely thankful for. Although she keeps me extremely busy in other ways.

I love the Holiday season. Even though it can be busy, I really enjoy wrapping presents, baking goodies, going to parties, and spending extra time with family. I love the music and smells and coolness in the air too.
