Our Thankful Tree

I got this idea from my friend Shanae. She gave me the paper tree too and I just store it with my fall decorations. I had some paper leaves leftover from a Primary activity that I cut out. Every day (well we did miss some) during November everyone would write something they were thankful for on a leaf and color it and then get to put it on the tree. I used the blue putty stuff to protect the paint and to be able to re-use the tree over and over. There are duplicates because we are all thankful for our family, etc. The girls had fun with it.

Some of the things we are thankful for:
Jesus Christ
The Earth
Family
Sledding
Our Home
Our Bodies
The Prophet
Love
Friends
Our Car
School

Every year we go to Grandma Dart's house for Thanksgiving. It is a full house with lots of love and great food. My mom was able to go with us. Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving we did a booth with our temple pictures at a big Christmas craft fair. The idea of this business was to be a fun hobby, but it has ended up being able to supplement our income. It turned a profit the first event we did and continues to do well. We are very blessed.
